Public Policy

Our mission in regards to Public Policy is to educate and inform NCBW members and our community of policies  or statutes that will impact their way of life.  Through valid information on current political issues we’re able to empower both members of NCBW and our community when making voting decisions.  Our current activities include working with Project Power to the People (PPP) to help citizens register to vote. We are also working with PPP to assist the League of Women Voters to get information on current bills and statutes that could negatively impact women in Missouri.  The NCBW lend support to the Town Hall held by PPP in June for candidates in St. Louis City for Sheriff, Circuit Attorney and Councilpersons.
